1. Agreement to Terms

By submitting an enquiry, confirming a booking, or making any payment to Sudarshan Sanchari Tours ("we", "us", "the Operator"), you ("the Traveller") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

2. Booking Process & Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only once:

• You have received a written confirmation email from us outlining the trip details, inclusions, and final price; and
• The required deposit (as stated in your confirmation) has been received and cleared.

Until both conditions are met, the Operator reserves the right to accept other bookings for the same departure dates.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices quoted are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated. Quoted prices include a 15% buffer for local taxes, seasonal surcharges, and permit fee variations — the final invoice will reflect the actual amounts charged.

Payment schedule

• Deposit: 30% of the total package price, due within 7 days of receiving your confirmation to secure the booking.
• Balance: Remaining 70% due no later than 30 days before the trip departure date.
• For bookings made within 30 days of departure, 100% of the total price is due immediately upon confirmation.

Accepted payment methods will be confirmed in your booking confirmation email. Prices are subject to change until the deposit is received.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation terms are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Please review it before booking.

5. Itinerary Changes

We reserve the right to modify itineraries before or during a trip due to safety considerations, weather, road conditions, local restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will always endeavour to provide the best alternative experience of equivalent or greater value.

6. Traveller Responsibilities

• Ensuring you hold a valid passport, visa, and any required permits for the destinations visited
• Disclosing any pre-existing medical conditions, mobility limitations, or dietary requirements at the time of booking
• Obtaining comprehensive travel and medical insurance before departure (strongly recommended)
• Arriving at all designated meeting points on time
• Respecting local cultures, communities, and natural environments
• Following the guidance of our tour leaders at all times for safety purposes

7. Health & Fitness

Some of our experiences involve physical activity in remote or high-altitude terrain. You are responsible for ensuring you are physically fit enough to participate safely. We may ask you to complete a fitness declaration before departure. We reserve the right to exclude any participant from an activity on safety grounds without liability for refund.

8. Liability

Sudarshan Sanchari Tours acts as a tour operator and is not liable for:

• Death, personal injury, or illness except where directly caused by our proven negligence
• Loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings
• Delays, disruptions, or cancellations caused by third-party service providers (airlines, accommodation, transport)
• Acts of God, natural disasters, civil unrest, pandemics, or government travel advisories

Our total liability to you in any circumstance is limited to the total amount paid by you for the tour in question.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including itineraries, images, descriptions, and brand assets — is the property of Sudarshan Sanchari Tours and may not be reproduced without prior written consent.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Karnataka, India.
